Step-by-Step Guide
The Tadi Brothers split screen control box allows you to manage multiple camera inputs seamlessly. Here’s how you can set it up:
1. Connecting the Antenna
Screw in the antenna to the control box. This will ensure a strong signal for your cameras.
2. Powering the Control Box
Connect the barrel connector to the socket on the control box. Attach the red wire to a 12-volt power source (like a running light) for constant power. If you prefer to power it only when in reverse, connect it to the reverse light. Alternatively, you can use the Tadi Brothers cigarette adapter for convenience.
3. Connecting Cameras
Using the provided video cables, connect your cameras to the control box. For a wired setup, plug the cable into the desired channel on the control box and connect the other end to the camera. If you’re using a wireless setup, plug a receiver into the control box and a transmitter into the camera.
4. Connecting to the Monitor
Take another video cable and connect it from the ‘video out’ socket on the control box to the input channel on your monitor. For this demonstration, we used a standard two-channel seven-inch monitor.
5. Powering Up and Testing
Power up the entire system. The camera feeds an image to the control box, which then feeds it to the monitor. Use the buttons on the control box to switch views.
Additional Tips
Ensure all connections are secure to avoid signal loss. If using a wireless setup, make sure the receiver and transmitter are correctly paired.
