For this setup, we’re using an RV camera, but the process is similar for bumper or license plate cameras with RCA connections.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Attach the base of the monitor to its mount, either with the suction cup or 3m tape for a secure fit.
2. Connect the camera to the transmitter before powering it with 12 volts to avoid any shorts.
3. Bench test the setup to ensure everything functions correctly.
4. Power both the monitor and the transmitter independently using the provided barrel connectors and a 12-volt power source.
5. Mount the camera in your desired location, point it backwards, and you’re ready to go!
