Hi everyone, today I’m going to show you how to remove the film from a monitor. Here we have a three and a half inch monitor that looks a little scratched up and scuffed. But don’t worry, it’s actually new. You just need to take the film off of it.

We often get calls from customers saying there’s no film, but there actually is. Watch as I show you how to easily peel it off without damaging the screen. First, just take your finger and gently peel it off, even if it looks like there’s nothing there. Keep peeling until it’s completely removed. Now it looks bright and new!

The process is similar for a seven-inch monitor, although this one has a little red tab to help you. Use a small pair of pliers to gently grab the corner of the film and pull it back. Clean up the sides if needed and you’re done!
