Hi everyone, today I’m going to show you how to set up a Wi-Fi RV backup camera that works with an Android device. This means it will work with any Android phone or tablet. Follow these simple steps to get started.
Step-by-Step Setup Guide
- Connect the Antenna: Attach the antenna to the back of the camera to enable reception and broadcasting capabilities.
- Power the Camera: Connect the camera to a 12-volt power source. For use only in reverse, connect to a reverse light power source. For constant use, connect to a running light or another constant power source.
- Download the SWD Camera App: Go to the Play Store and download the SWD Camera app on your Android device.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Go to your Wi-Fi settings and connect to the SWD network created by the camera. This may take a few seconds.
- Launch the App: Open the SWD Camera app to view the live feed from your camera. You can tap the screen to hide interface elements, turn grid lines on or off, and capture and share pictures directly from the app.
